Utilities & Variable Charges
Water, sewer, or other utilities are not included in your rent. Renters are responsible for payment each month based on actual usage. These charges are billed separately from rent and are outlined in your lease agreement. Failure to pay variable charges may constitute a lease violation.
Pursuant to Virginia Code § 55.1-1204.1, ‘Rent’ includes all money owed to the landlord under the lease agreement, excluding the security deposit. For updated rental rates, please check our floor plan availability page(s).

Poplar Forest and Parc Crest Apartments provide pet-friendly apartments with the following conditions:
- A non-refundable one-time fee is required for all pets.
- Additional fees are required.
- Pets shall not be over 80 lbs. at full maturity, and a maximum of 2 pets are allowed per apartment unit.
- The following breeds are restricted from Poplar Forest and Parc Crest Apartments: Pit Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chows, and Spitz.

Poplar is a very quiet, peaceful complex with wonderful staff and management. Mike was always more than willing to make accommodations for us when needed, and the maintenance team would always arrive at our door as soon as possible. Our unit was extremely spacious and clean, grounds were well kept, and the private pond and beach made for great outdoor time. If we ever find ourselves in Farmville again, we will be sure to move back here.
